The European Orthodontic Society was founded on 16th May 1907 by 10 Charter members. Regular congresses of the Society are held annually in different European countries.
The Society is affiliated to the World Federation of Orthodontists and has close co-operation with the European Federation of Orthodontic Specialists Association.
The aims of EOS are:
To advance all aspects of orthodontics and its relations with the collateral arts and sciences for the public benefit.
To seek the furtherance of orthodontics amongst all branches of the dental profession working in private practice, hospitals and universities throughout Europe.
To host an annual congress once a year, bringing orthodontists together from all over the world.
The Congress title is ‘Techniques may change but the principles remain the same’. The topics will cover and answer questions on clinical and scientific issues faced in our everyday practice and will present all the latest advances in our field.
Submissions are open for abstracts and Houston Research Awards.
The EOS invites authors to submit abstracts for selection and inclusion in the Scientific Programme as an oral or poster presentation on one of the congress topics. The submission deadline is 13 December 2021 at 23:59 CET.
